Listed below are several questions that may help you when planning your move.
Question: Do I have to remove items from my dresser drawers?
Answer: All dresser drawers need to be emptied to avoid damage to the piece or if it may break or spill. Items must be removed if this piece is an antique or upstairs.
Question: Will you take my beds apart?
Answer: We will take your beds apart and put them back together. We will also remove the mirrors from your dressers, hook up your washer, dryer and ice maker. Hook up of appliances are done providing the necessary equipment is already existing and that they are all electric. We will not change out plugs or do any electrical or plumbing. We recommend that all connections to your washer are checked BEFORE you run a load of clothes in case the hoses leak.
Question: How long will my move take?
Answer: Depending on the size of your move, most are completed within 3 to 4 hours.
Question: How and who do I pay?
Answer: We accept cash, checks, money orders, debit card, Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. You can pay any of the men on your move. If you pay with cash, a receipt will be mailed to you upon request. Credit Card/debit card payments will incur a 5% electronic processing fee.
Question: Will you just pack my china?
Answer: We will pack anything you want us to. We do however, have a $750.00 minimum for our packing service inside the city limits of Texarkana. Packing is done by the box and is priced per box.
Question: What do I do if I have a damage or missing item?
Answer: If you have a damage, report it to the office immediately. Call it to the movers attention also. If you believe an item is missing, please unpack every box BEFORE you contact the office. Many times items are thought to be missing but have just been misplaced.
